Meet the Artists at Operation Sight's "Vision is Art" Reception

Come celebrate “Vision Is Art”!

Please join us at Operation Sight’s “Vision Is Art” reception on Wednesday, March 29th, and enjoy beautiful artwork for sale, hors d’oeuvres, libations, and learn more about the organizations efforts to restore the vision and improve the lives of low-income, uninsured South Carolina residents by providing cataract surgery at no cost.

Operation Sight is the area’s only nonprofit to offer free cataract surgery (pre- and postoperative care). Operation Sight uses donated services of volunteer cataract surgeons in the Charleston area, including Operation Sight’s founders, Drs. Kerry Solomon, John Boatwright and Paul Herring. These surgeons, along with numerous healthcare professionals and medical supply companies, have donated their time, talent and resources to enhance the lives of almost 225 South Carolina cataract patients to date.

Come mix and mingle with some of Operation Sight’s health care professionals and volunteers as well as the artists who are donating a percentage of their sales to Operation Sight.

This exhibit's featured artists are Susanne Frenzel, John G.P. Boatwright, Mary Johnson Voss, Jennifer Griffith, Tracy Gansrow, Serge Skiba, Alex Radin, John Churchill, and Vanessa Grebe. For more information about the artists, please visit Operation Sight's "Meet the Artists"
