Get things started with a Cornmeal Fried Oyster Crostini or Goat Cheese Stuffed “Fried” Mushrooms dipped in warm Honey BBQ Sauce. For the main course, enjoy the Signature Slow Roasted Prime Rib with a warm baked potato. Complete your meal with decadent Rum Cake or creamy Chocolate Mousse.

Head over to Mosaic Café and warm up with Smoked Gouda Dip, Edamame Hummus or Warm Mozzarella Salad. Move on to the next course and try Mosaic Shrimp and Grits, Firecracker Tuna, Carolina BBQ Beef Tender or Bourin Stuffed Chicken Breast. Looking for a salty-sweet fix? Enjoy the fresh taste of local ingredients at Tomasso with the Tomasso Caprese. Continue to indulge with the Lasagna Alforno or the Chicken Parmigiana Ala Vodka. Finish with a classic Tiramisu or a Seasonal Sorbet. Experience all of this for $30.

Get inspired by the delicious cuisine at MUSE Restaurant & Wine Bar. Begin your meal with Roasted Apple Salad over Spinach, with Duck Confit and a Black Pepper & Caramelized Onion Vinaigrette. Continue with Striped Bass, Seared & Served with Red Creamer Potatoes, Tomatoes & a Shallot Agro Dolce. Wrap things up with Peach and Amaretto Panna Cotta. Enjoy a complete meal for $30.

Savor a 3 course meal for $30 at Station 22. Kick things off and enjoy Watermelon Gazpacho with pickled shrimp. Follow it up with Cast Iron Seared Diver Scallops on a bed of arugula with corn puree, Benton bacon lardons and grape tomatoes. Finish your meal with Chocolate Chip Pecan Bread Pudding, warm with double caramel ice cream.

Jasmine Porch offers a 3-course meal for only $40. Start off with light Sweet Bay Farms Mixed Greens. Then try a hearty serving of Shrimp and Grits. Wrap up the meal with some Peach Bread Pudding or Keylime Pie.

Warm up this winter at The Ocean Room with a bowl of the Late Harvest Corn Soup. Follow it up with the 130° Beef Tenderloin. Then, feed the kid inside with a Chocolate S’more. Also, just $40.

The Atlantic Room offers modern American twists on seasonal seafood selections. Get started with Crispy Shrimp, Arugala and Beet Salad or “Tomato” Pie. Beginning your meal with one of these items will surely get your taste buds flowing. Move on to the next course with Crispy Local Flounder, Grilled Spice Rubbed Ashley Farm Chicken Breast or Steak Frites. Say goodnight with some creamy Bread Pudding or Pot de Crème- Pistachio Biscotti, Whip Cream and Strawberry. Enjoy a 3 course meal at this seafood paradise for $40.

Charleston Restaurant Week 2013

January 10 - 20, 2013

The event, orchestrated by the Charleston Restaurant Association (CRA), is one of the most exciting and anticipated culinary events in the Charleston area. Over 130 restaurants will serve Lowcountry-style food based on a prix fixe menu: three courses for $20, $30 or $40. Take advantage of this great opportunity and enjoy world famous cuisine from South Carolina’s coastal region.

Since January 2010, excitement and participation has grown from only 32 restaurants in the inaugural Charleston Restaurant Week to over 130 participants in the January 2013 event. Signs point to a growing out of town fan base as well.

Charleston Restaurant Week is a highly anticipated food related event which occurs only twice per year. The CRA encourages you to make reservations as soon as possible, especially for the weekends. Check out hotels for special deals, too!
