Wild Wing Café, 36 N Market St and 7618 Rivers Ave

I don't trust a person who doesn't like chicken wings. They're crispy, juicy, smothered in delicious sauce—and who doesn't like making a mess when you eat sometimes? As you can tell, I'm a huge wing fan, and so it only makes sense that I have a blast when dining at Wild Wing Café.

With two convenient locations in the Lowcountry (one in Downtown Charleston and one in North Charleston), Wild Wing Café offers wing-loving families a great place to pull up a chair, roll up the shirtsleeves, and dig in to some wings while watching the game. (Or games—there are quite a few TVs in both Wild Wing locations, so whatever team you follow, chances are you'll be able to see them play.)

There's a crazy amount of wing flavors to choose from, ranging from the Virgin (perfect for kiddies who have a tender mouth) and the Island Jerk to the Red Dragon and the hotter-than-hot Braveheart.

But if you're one of those not-to-be-trusted types who just don't dig wings, that's okay—Wild Wings has tons of other options for kids and adults alike. Try starting your meal off on a cool note with the Super Spinach Dip, and then dig into the BBQ Chicken Flatbread, Homemade Chicken Fingers, the Fajita Fiesta Wrap, the Incredible Chargrilled Chicken Salad, or one of the other many choices.

And after it's time for the kids to go night-night, come back out to Wild Wing's for some killer drink specials such as $2 domestic drafts on Tuesdays or $3 Firefly Sweet Tea Vodkas on Fridays. And stick around for the live music so that you can boogie and sweat off the delicious meal you just enjoyed.
