Folly Beach Information
Known as one of the most popular beaches in the Charleston Area, Folly Beach is often referred to by locals as the "Edge of America." This barrier island services over 100,000 visitors per year and is a favorite hot spot for residents and visitors alike. Recently, the beach has been undergoing a restoration and renourishment plan in an effort to undo the damage done by Hurricane Irene in 2011.
